More details

We offer a range of performance monitoring equipment for pumps, blowers and turbines. Traditional methods require flow measurement in order to estimate pump efficiency, which is often difficult to do on site and is subject to non-linear errors. Our pump efficiency meters use the fundamental thermodynamic principle that losses in the machine are primarily transferred to the fluid being pumped, in the form of heat. By measuring the differential temperature and head across the pump the losses can be calculated very accurately. Pump efficiency can be determined from the losses. Our pump efficiency equipment measures the power input, so we can also calculate the flow, typically to an accuracy of 0.5%.
